The Tombo-dama glass-head pins are a handy tool to have when sewing. The glass heads of these traditionally produced pins feature a flower pattern and are made by the Kinari glass factory in Osaka, following an old technique with which glass beads (tombodama or tonbodama) with floral patterns were made as early as the 8th century. Made in Hiroshima, the nickel-plated steel pins are strong yet flexible, allowing them to glide smoothly through fabric. They are 37mm long and 0.5mm thick. Supplied per 1 pack with 3 pins.
