Woven elastic strong bundle 12-40mm black - 20x2.5m

This strong elastic retains its shape and is very firm – ideal to use for waistbands or hems in trousers and skirts. It is woven and does not narrow down when stretched out. This makes it very suitable for sewing it on the fabric, but it also works well to pass it through a casing. This strong elastic is washable up to 95ᵒC and is available in black and white colours in several widths. Supplied per 20 bundles of 2.5 metres each.

Casing: Sew a casing that is slightly wider than the elastic. Cut the elastic slightly shorter than the waist measurement. Pass the elastic through the casing and sew together the two ends. Distribute the fabric folds evenly.

Sewing on the fabric: Place the elastic on the fabric and stretch it out as it passes through the sewing machine needle. Warning: stretch the elastic equally on both sides of the needle to prevent the needle from breaking.
