Veritas Rubina: an entry-level computerised sewing machine

The Veritas Rubina features 100 different stitch programmes, ranging from handy practical and lock stitches to 7 different buttonholes and various decorative stitches. All stitches are pre-programmed in the optimal stitch width and length. With the automatic buttonhole function, you can easily create the perfect buttonhole in the desired length and width. Thanks to the horizontal hook, a stitch width of up to 7.00mm is possible and the bobbin spool for the bobbin thread can be easily inserted from above. The large sewing table with detachable accessory compartment offers plenty of storage space and allows you to sew for large projects, while the free arm is useful for narrow sewing projects, such as tucking in sleeves or hems of trouser legs. In short, Veritas Rubina has everything you need for everyday sewing! It has a net weight of 5.45kg (including accessories) and measures 36.5cm length x 19cm width x 28cm height. Veritas Rubina follows in the footsteps of one of the very last models from the production line at the famous sewing machine factory in Wittenberge, before it went bankrupt after the reunification of East and West Germany. The model was number 8014-1091, better known as Rubina, and, in turn, based on the legendary 8014 series from 1957. With this latest Veritas Rubina, Veritas continues this great tradition and brings it into the future.
