Monk’s cloth is the ideal punching fabric. This coarsely woven fabric is made from 100% cotton in a neutral colour. Oxford’s Monk’s cloth has a white line every 5cm (2 inches), which helps you position your pattern straight in the frame and to stretch the fabric evenly in the frame. The soft fabric is very durable and robust and guarantees hours of comfortable punching. These large pieces can be cut to the desired size. It is advisable to finish the fabric with a zigzag or lock stitch before punching, so that the fabric does not fray. Oxford Monk's cloth punch fabric is 183cm wide and available in various lengths.
