Shirring elastic on spool 1mm white - 10x15m

Shirring elastic is perfect for when crafters wish to breathe new life into existing garments or add shape to a newly-made outfit, most commonly at the waist, neckline or bust. Wind the shirring elastic around a bobbin and use it as a bottom thread in a household sewing machine. Any kind of all-purpose sewing thread can be used as the upper thread. Alternatively, crafters can lay out the shirring elastic on the fabric and use a zigzag stitch to create a tunnel for the elastic. Simply pull on the elastic gently and then sew the end of the shirring elastic securely to the fabric. Each spool holds 15 metres of shirring elastic measuring 1mm thick. Available in black and white. Supplied per 10 spools.
