Free Spirit Colour Inspiration for the Sassenach KAL

February 23 sees the start of Scheepjes much anticipated Sassenach KAL, our first ever Knit-A-Long, designed by Carmen Jorissen of New Leaf Designs. Announcements have been extremely well received, with excited Scheepjes fans eager to choose their yarn and begin this unique collaborative knitting experience! Many free spirits enjoy exploring endless colour combinations, preferring to create their own individual palettes. Completing the Sassenach KAL will require 610g of Metropolis/Downtown yarn in total. To inspire, Carmen has devised some wonderful colourways that she’ll be sharing shortly on her blog.

Why not encourage your free spirit customers to participate and create a unique palette that incorporates their own favourite shades? For inspiration, we’ll be sharing the gorgeous Solana colourway with our Scheepjes community via our social media channels.

A truly creative option for knitters experienced in colourwork would be to purchase a Metropolis Colour Pack. The pack contains 800g of yarn in total; 10g of all 80 shades. This provides more than enough to allow knitters to be highly creative with colour selections.
